Except for you, all of my friends are on livejournal, so I'll stay. I like to read everyone's entries on my Friends page. So much easier than clicking through a list of other people's journals. I certainly wouldn't expect any of my friends to click to read the fluff that I post about! Also, I like to keep my entries private to my Friends list.

I hate the term 'blog', by the way. Yuck yuck yuck.

Oh, that's because you're on that proprietary LiveJournal thing. ;)

The idea is that if you make a reference in your blog to someone else's blog, you make a trackback. It's a way of finding related articles. Theoretically you could just leave a comment saying "I wrote an article about this on my blog", but trackbacks are a somewhat more formalized way of doing that.
