Fish tacos are among the greatest food things on earth. There is much debate about their exact origin, but everyone places said origin near San Diego or south on the Baja Peninsula. When you're in Cali for the Blogher conference, see if you can find a Rubio's somewhere in Santa Clara. They make (according to some) the original and best fish tacos. Crispy fish, crunchy cabbage (not lettuce!) and a very tasty white sauce that makes everything perfect together.
