Hey, I liked Ishtar, and I'm not afraid to admit it. The worst movie I saw in 1986 was probably Howard the Duck.

I could never give up on anything that features Jennifer Garner like that.

But yeah, it did get to be a stretch a number of times. Last year's "Dawn of the Dead" finale was a bit odd, but other than that I still enjoyed it. My only problem with the wind down of the season was that I didn't care for this subplot involving Tom and wished they could have devoted that time to help flesh out the finale better.

I thought the worst movie you ever saw was Ishtar? Didn't we see that together in 1986? Or maybe that was Alan...

I stuck around! I actually quite enjoyed this last season, much more than the one previous to it. And I thought the ending was quite fitting, particularly given how much they had to squeeze into the last month after having expected a full season.

And those weren't vampires; I thought they were zombies.

I never minded the dolphin speaking on Alias because, well, that's the kind of world they lived in. On the other hand, this year's Gilmore Girls dolphin-speak was a bit silly. (Ah, the long lost child; no one's ever used /that/ device before).

what happened at the end? i gave up a few years ago; back when i was also torturing myself with the last crappy season of friends, secretly hoping for an alias/friends crossover where she was assigned to kill off all the friends and they would all die and leave me along in peace.
