Blog Note: No More Free Updates for iBlog!
Monday, 2004 March 8 - 5:03 pm
Apparently I can no longer get free updates to iBlog, the blog software that I'm using. Boo!

After upgrading to the latest version of iBlog, which I received as part of Apple's ".mac" service, the program was no longer recognized as registered. Frankly, that sucks. I wouldn't have based my blog on this program had I known I couldn't get bug fixes for it.

Really, it's not a very well-written program. It's full of bugs, it's exceedingly difficult to customize, and it doesn't play all that well with web pages on ".mac". Doesn't seem to be worth my while to pay for the program. I'll guess I'll keep using the buggy 1.3.1 version until I come up with a better solution. I may end up writing my own program in the end.

iBlog, you are dead to me. Phlphbt.
