Wednesday's Frozen Meal: Lean Cuisine Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Tuesday, 2010 March 30 - 1:57 pm
"With mushrooms & basil". No fancy description here.

Box

Meal

Okay, yeah, I'm way behind on this stuff. Here's the first of three Lean Cuisine meals I've had over the last week or so.

Taste: I suppose it's pretty hard to screw up spaghetti. This isn't bad, though you can certainly tell it's pre-packaged food: the noodles are a bit mushy and the sauce tastes canned. It's kind of hard to evaluate frozen spaghetti... it'd be trivial to replicate this with an ordinary jar of prepared spaghetti sauce, so it doesn't really seem worth it to get this. Score: 2.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: It goes slightly high in sodium and doesn't have much in the way of vitamins. Score: 2.0/3.0

Packaging: Requires the old peel-and-stir thing. Score: 1.5/2.0

Total Score: 6.0/10.0.
