Stuff That Happened | Monday, 2005 May 16 - 10:07 pm |
I never know what to title these posts that just contain my random daily observations. Today's two-mile time: 17:02. And this time, I wasn't even chasing a girl. And, I had enough energy left afterwards to mow the lawn. An awkward thing happened at work today. A guy walked out of his cubicle at the same time I did. We had a little chit-chat, and then we kept walking... all the way to the MEN'S ROOM. In other words, we formed an unintentional DUDE'S PEE POSSE. When I realized what was happening, I almost just stopped walking, but I don't know how I would have explained that. I've been listening to Rilo Kiley CDs in my car a lot, in preparation for seeing them in concert (with Pinky!). There's this one really fantastic lyric that I just have to share, from "Portions for Foxes": "And the talking leads to touching, and the touching leads to sex, and then there is no mystery left". It's very poignant, don't you think? It's possible to smell the inside of one's own nose. People say it's not, but sometimes after I sneeze or something, I can definitely smell something there. It's not pleasant. It's a good thing we don't have to smell each others' noses. |

Did you talk wilst peeing? Once the one eyed monster is out, all conversation must cease. |

It absolutely IS possible to smell that! And thank you for having the courage to put it out in the open, because I never could! |
