More mind-numbing minutiae.

Right after this rather meaningless entry, look for one entitled "The Way of Kato". It's a hefty article, but it needed to be written (partly as a counterbalance to this article, and partly as a follow-up to the earlier religion article).

Today I went to the driving range and I went running. I didn't time myself today; I think it was pretty slow because I was already tired from the golfing. Afterwards I got out a towel and I lay on the grass at the park for a while (and yes, that's "lay", as in the past tense of "lie", not "laid").

I also went grocery shopping. Unfortunately, Midol Girl was not there. And I violated the first rule of grocery shopping, which is "Don't Shop For Groceries When You're Hungry". I spent $181, and I live alone! But you know, after this week's condiment crisis, I had to do something. Now I am satisfyingly condimentary. (I know that's not a word... but it should be. I'm going to have to start making a list of my made-up words.)

Finally, just in case I haven't acknowledged MonoCerdo enough, this is for her (and her cute new haircut):

(Sarah, I don't have a cool red bat-phone like you, so I just put in my phone... and a random red object.)

Butter is my favorite condiment. That statement has born endless debates at to whether butter is a condiment. I say it is and I love it!

"... I was already tired from the golfing"

There is something wrong with that.

I hate to admit it, but I read this and put off the philosophical article for a time when I can digest it.
