October 13 Frozen Meal: Lean Cuisine Rosemary Chicken | Tuesday, 2010 November 2 - 1:22 pm |
"Roasted chicken tenderloins in a lemon-rosemary sauce with carrots, spinach and whole wheat pilaf." Not a lot of chicken there. Taste: The chicken (what there is of it) is decently cooked; it's quite tender and not at all rubbery. I can't taste much rosemary flavor. (You'd think that since the dish is called ROSEMARY CHICKEN, there would be more chicken and more rosemary in it.) The lemon sauce is actually pretty good, but there's just not enough of it to cover the bitter taste of the pilaf-vegetable mixture. At 233 grams, this isn't very filling. Score: 2.5/5.0 Nutrition: Pretty good; low in fat, 5 grams of fiber, and a bunch of Vitamin A. Score: 2.5/3.0 Packaging: No peeling or stirring required; just pop it in the microwave. Score: 2.0/2.0 Total Score: 7.0/10.0 |
