College Football 2013: Week 5 Preview
Saturday, 2013 September 28 - 8:43 am
Michigan has a bye; N.C. State plays Central Michigan.

Not much to talk about today... Michigan has a bye week to try to fix their offensive line issues, while State takes on a woefully bad Central Michigan team. So let's just jump to the...

Games to Watch on TV
At noon, the best game might be #6 South Carolina at Central Florida on ABC. This game looks like a mismatch, but UCF is 3-0 and fresh off a win at Penn State. There aren't really any other compelling match ups; maybe see if Northern Illinois can beat Purdue on ESPN2.

At 3:30, there's a monster SEC game as #6 LSU plays #9 Georgia on CBS. That's your Game of the Week. #14 Oklahoma plays #22 Notre Dame on NBC, which is another interesting matchup. Iowa plays Minnesota on ABC/ESPN2; it's the first real test for Minnesota, who's Michigan's opponent next week, so I'll be interested in that one. The NCSU/CMU game is online on ESPN3, or it appears to be available on Time Warner's "Special Events" channel for those of you who have that.

At 6:30 #21 Ole Miss plays #1 Alabama on ESPN. At 7:00 #10 Texas A&M plays Arkansas on ESPN2 (though Arkansas just got through losing to Rutgers, so ergh). Arizona plays #16 Washington on Fox; I'll be rooting for Rich Rodriguez in this game.

At 8:00, there's an important Big Ten battle as #23 Wisconsin plays #4 Ohio State on ABC.
