College Football 2018 Week 4 Preview | Saturday, 2018 September 22 - 3:07 am |
Michigan takes on Nebraska, NCSU is away at Marshall, Penn State plays Illinois. Michigan vs. Nebraska, 12:00 FS1 So this will be an abbreviated preview since I’m doing this at the last minute. The skinny is that this Nebraska team is dangerous despite their 0-2 record and last week’s loss against lowly Troy. Much will hinge on whether star freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez is able to return from his injury; if so, we’re facing a guy who will play havoc with containment issues that have been nagging us against the likes of Ohio State and Notre Dame. If not, though, Nebraska will one again start a walk on who has trouble making good reads under pressure. On Michigan’s side, it’s simple again: will Michigan throw the ball ebough and will the offensive llne be able to protect Patterson. If so, I think Michigan will win. But i’m not sure the coaches have confidence in a pass-first approach. Prediction: Michigan 27, Nebraska 23. N.C. State at Marshall, 4:00 CBSSN Prediction: NCSU 41, Marshall 38. Penn State vs. Illinois Already played Friday. Penn State won handily because Illinois is kind of awful. |
