Giving Thanks
Thursday, 2004 November 25 - 12:05 am
It's Thanksgiving in the USA. Here are a few words of thanks.

I am thankful for friends who love me. The only way I can survive is by believing that there are people out there who think I'm wonderful and important. And, my life is continuously enriched by having so many beautiful, creative, intelligent, and energetic people around me.

I am thankful for my family who is there for me, even though I don't call or write enough.

I am thankful for having a well-paying job, and for having financial security.

I am thankful for my free single lifestyle. Of course I would like to be married and have a family... but being single still has its advantages.

I am thankful that I live in a peaceful and safe neighborhood, even if it's not that glamorous or exciting.

I am thankful for having creative outlets. Music, writing, and art give me a lot of fulfillment.

I am thankful for being a Mac user. If you're a Mac user, you'll understand this.

I am thankful that people read my blog. It's nice to be heard.

amen to all of that noodles - esepcially mac ownership.

by the way, in answer to your assertion that everyone should have a blog, i have started on at livejournal under the username "Chaodai." not much up there, but have a look...

I wish that you posted more stuff about your personal life, Ken. Or even your work life. I want to know more about what you are doing than just your political views and your opinions on movies, music, and restaurants. You should have a livejournal, too! Do you?

Funny you should ask. I am planning to open a separate blog for more personal stuff. Stay tuned.

You should start a livejournal so we (javi and I) can read your journal easily. Or you should syndicate your web page so we can read it that way. That would be awesome.

As you might see, I've decided to incorporate journal-type entries right into this blog, instead of opening a new one.

There is an RSS feed, by the way, at "http://homepage.mac.com/kenkato/rss.xml".

I added it as a feed on livejournal as rkofeed. I hope that's all right with you!
