More Scandalous Outings
Friday, 2007 February 2 - 8:54 am
Last weekend... and probably this weekend too.

Oh blog. How I have neglected you. I would like to say it won't happen again, but let's face it, I've become a weekly blogger. And the thing is, there's so much going on that I want to talk about.

Last weekend, Brett ("spit technique") showed us a new trick: how to drink from two beers at once.

Or maybe, "how to pour two beers all over yourself at once". We love Brett for his entertainment value. We're taking him out with us again tonight.

Going out to clubs now, I'm experiencing one of the best things about being married: never having to try to pick up women again. I remember the days of trying to squeeze into a conversation, or trying to figure out whether some girl's eye contact meant that she was interested, or worrying about crossing the line from "interested" to "creepy". Now I can just sit and watch the crowd. It's like watching salmon trying to swim upstream to spawn. And every now and then someone gets eaten by a bear.

Not that I don't still flirt. Flirting is fun. It's so much more fun now, knowing it doesn't have to lead to anything.

Shoot, I've got so much more to talk about, but now I have to go to work. I'll try to write some more again tomorrow.

I'm jealous. The last date I had ended w/ me storming out of the restaurant and telling him to f-off!

In my defense, had anyone else SEEN the "Double Dare" episode where host Marc Summers demonstrates how to do it, you'd have been trying it too.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Brett is single. ;)
