Why Didn't Someone Tell Me? | Thursday, 2005 April 14 - 11:04 pm |
Apparently, there's a World Toilet Organization that no one told me about. I didn't realize things had progressed so far. According to a news article I read today, Thailand will be hosting the World Toilet Summit in May 2006. Apparently World Toilet Organization has been having these summits since 2001, and NOBODY TOLD ME. Geez. At the summit, they discuss things like toilet design, toilet management, and hygiene measures. HELLO? That's what I've been writing about here, you know? You'd think that with all the Google hits I get for "urinal design", somebody would have mentioned this to me. The 2005 World Toilet Summit is going to be in Belfast in September. BELFAST! For £351.52, I can get the full package, which includes attendance to the "Loo of the Year Awards", and "Irish Night". Wow, I should so go to this thing, don't you think? I guess it would be weird for me to show up as just a "fan" instead of some official toilet manufacturer or government representative, though. And as much as this seems like an event that was MADE for me, I don't know if it's worth $661 (US), plus hotel and airfare. I'm just happy an event like this exists in the world. Maybe in September, I'll have my own Real Kato Toilet Summit. Complete with Irish Night. Or maybe just with Irish Night. |

I thought of you the other day, in the bathroom of Lucky 32 in Cary. They have those nice urinals that go all the way to the floor. I love them dearly. |
