If you didn't watch his speech tonight, you didn't miss anything.

I didn't play the Bush Drinking Game with tonight's speech... and it's a good thing, because then I'd really be plastered.

"September the 11th". "It's difficult work". "We're making progress". Has anything changed AT ALL since the election? Dubya, do you have ANYTHING new to say?

Here are my questions for you:

1a. Should the Iraqi government be under the control of the religious majority?
1b. Should the American government be under the control of the religious majority?

2a. Should we be pouring money and resources into improving Iraqi schools, roads, police, and health care?
2b. Should we be pouring money and resources into improving American schools, roads, police, and health care?

3. Are you saying that, because we're fighting the war in Iraq, terrorists are too occupied to hit us here in the U.S.? So does that mean we no longer need the Patriot Act?

4. You're saying we're not going to set a timetable for leaving Iraq, because if we did, the terrorists would just "wait us out". What exactly is preventing the terrorists from doing that anyway?

5. If you're not going to define a timetable for leaving Iraq, can you at least tell us what conditions need to be met for the war to be considered a success? Or are you just making THAT up as you go along too?

6. Are you STILL trying to tell us that Iraq and 9/11 are connected? Seriously?

7. When you say people should consider a military career, does that include rich people? And children of politicians? And, does that mean a real military career, or just a cushy Air National Guard position with no chance of seeing any combat?

Just asking.
