Today's Ramblings
Tuesday, 2005 March 15 - 11:42 pm
A few miscellaneous thoughts that I was too lazy to make into real articles.

Work anecdote: Today at work, I was asked to identify which projects my team will be working on this year. If our work couldn't be associated with a specific project, it was to be labeled "SWOP", for "software operations". One co-worker thus characterized our work as being in the "SWOP bucket." That seemed to be a fitting description.

American Idol note: Can I sneak this in without anyone noticing? Nadia Turner is my new favorite. That girl is hot.

Blog note 1: There's been a lull in my blog traffic lately, since I haven't been mentioned on Suburban Bliss* for a while. But today I did hit the 10000 mark for page loads. Sarah was my lucky 10000th reader. That means I owe her yet another beer.

Blog note 2: My move to realkato.com seems to be going smoothly. In a short while I'll change all the pages on the mac.com site to redirect to realkato.com. But all of your old bookmarks should continue to work for now, as should the RSS XML feed.

*Don't go to suburbanbliss.net. Someone else bought the domain and Melissa no longer writes there.

Re: American Idol - If a guy says that all the songs on "American Idol" put him in the mood, is he joking?

I knew I was your 10,000th reader! I saw it on the sidebar, but the number was so nice and tidy and rounded that I figured it wasn't a counter, but instead something like the number of beers you planned to drink that month. Hey, we all need goals, Ken.

Now I can double fist my free beers!
