What do you call the new wife of your brother-in-law? Is there some special term for that, or is she still just your sister-in-law? Meet Jennifer, who is so sweet and adorable that if she hadn't become part of the family through marriage, I would have adopted her. She married my brother-in-law Neil, who is awesome in many ways (for example: survived a helicopter crash in Iraq). I had my fancy camera with me and I took more than 500 pictures at their wedding. I'm slowly working through post-processing them in Photoshop. I'll post them to Facebook as I get through them. |

If you like both her and your brother-in-law, she's your sister-in-law. If you like your brother-in-law but not her, she's your brother-in-law's wife. If you don't like either of them, she's your wife's brother's wife. :-) My dad and my mom's youngest sister's husband get along very well, and dad has always referred to him fondly as an "in-law". |

Be technical definition in polite society she is your sister-in-law but I prefer Phil's definition! |
