Today's Frozen Meal: Marie Callender's Fettucini Chicken Balsamico
Saturday, 2010 January 30 - 3:51 pm
(Actually, this is yesterday's meal. For some reason I never clicked the "submit" button for this post yesterday.) "Broad Egg Noodles and Balsamic Reduction with White Meat Chicken, Spinach and Mushrooms".

Box

Meal+Meal

Meal

This is designed almost exactly like the Café Steamers meals, with the sauce tray in the bottom and everything else on top.

Taste: Not bad. Maybe just slightly salty, but on the whole the flavors are pretty well-balanced, with a good mushroomy flavor. The sauce is a bit thin, and the spinach looks like it's gone through a shredder. But this meal is an order of magnitude better than that Healthy Choice balsamic chicken dish from Wednesday. Score: 3.5/5.0

Nutrition

Nutrition: Eeeeeeeek. 17 grams of fat, 1270mg of sodium. Score: 1.0/3.0

Packaging: Convenient steamer design, just like the Healthy Choice meals. Score: 2.0/2.0

Total Score: 6.5/10.0
