This week has been a bust. But I'm STILL OPTIMISTIC, damn it. GunGirl says that maybe she's not "ready" for dating, after all. She's recently divorced, so I suppose that's understandable. I still might try to be friends with her; as I always say, one can never have too many attractive friends. There's not much else going on. As usual. I had planned to flirt madly at Raleigh's "Alive After Five" free outdoor concert series this evening, but we had gale-force winds blow through, and that put the kibosh on the evening. So now I'm back here at home, on the Internet(s). So what's the deal with women who describe themselves in their on-line profiles as "sassy", as if that were a good thing? Do women think guys like that? It makes me think "argumentative and difficult". It also makes me think of Phil Hartman. It's not very sexy. The same goes for women who describe themselves as "challenging". You know what? At this point in my life, I don't want "challenging". I'm perfectly willing and able to put forth a herculean effort into a relationship, but I don't want someone who takes PRIDE in making that effort more difficult. Crouching Hamster believes that I will, someday, meet someone via this blog. I think that would be nice. Come to think of it, why isn't there an on-line dating service based on blogs? I can tell much more about a girl by reading her blog, than I can by reading some cliché-ridden dating-service profile. And when I meet someone, my first temptation is to have her read my blog, because this is where I really express myself. Then again, I'm not always sure that poop stories are really the best way to impress someone. Hmm. |

i disagree about the poop stories - i mean, what is a gorgeous lady reads this blog and connects with you on that level? point is., the less secrets you have, the more likely you are to meet someone who shares your interests... even, you know... poop. |

I agree! I mean what if you meet a girl who's really into you until she hears about the poop. and then she's like nevermind. Wouldn't you rather have a girl that likes you for you regardless of your poop? |
