Today's Frozen Meal: Smart Ones Pasta Primavera | Friday, 2010 May 14 - 3:15 pm |
"Tender bow tie pasta with broccoli florets and julienne-cut carrots in a creamy parmesan sauce." No meat in this thing. Taste: The sauce is a poor imitation of a parmesan cream sauce; it's more watery than creamy, and desperately in need of pepper and perhaps garlic. The vegetables and pasta are fine, though it's pretty hard to mess up pasta, broccoli, and carrots. This doesn't seem like a full meal; more like a side dish. Score: 2.0/5.0 Nutrition: Good numbers except for vitamins; pretty much what you'd expect from a small meatless dish. Score: 2.5/3.0 Packaging: Peel and stir halfway through. Score: 1.5/2.0 Total Score: 6.0/10.0 |
