I'm STILL Not Dead
Thursday, 2005 November 10 - 7:50 am
... though, if I were, it would let me get some much-needed sleep.

I know, I've been horribly remiss about posting. There just aren't enough hours in the day.

Part of the problem is that I haven't been feeling well. I thought I might be catching a cold or the flu or something, but I haven't developed full-blown symptoms. I'm fatigued and ache-y and I have that sour taste in my mouth that I always get when I'm sick, but there's no congestion or fever. I'm starting to wonder if it's some sort of chronic fatigue syndrome, or maybe just a flareup of the Epstein-Barr Virus. Does anyone else get this? It happens to me about once a year.

So all I want to do is sleep. That's prevented me from doing a lot of morning blogging. I get up early and I think about blogging, but then I go back to sleep for as long as I can before going to work. Sometimes I dream that I'm blogging, and then I wake up and I'm all disappointed that I didn't actually get anything out.

Today, though, I'm giving someone a ride to work, so if I go back to sleep, there's a good chance I'll oversleep and I won't be on time. So I might as well hack out a post or two. But I only have about half an hour and that probably won't be enough time for the full Vegas recap. So, sorry, that'll probably have to wait until the weekend.

Long term hangover mixed with jet lag?

I thought maybe that was it at first, but that usually feels different. Though, it's possible that all the Vegas-ing has weakened my immune system.
