Leaving Las Vegas, Again | Monday, 2007 November 5 - 2:04 am |
One more update before I leave Nevada. More pictures to come shortly. Sunday was definitely a more sedate day. We left the Golden Nugget and took our luggage to Alan's room at New York New York. We ate at Fatburger, then walked over to The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace to do some shopping. That's when I ran into Cameron Diaz, at the Louis Vuitton store. No, really. I have a crappy blurry photo to prove it. She was shopping with a friend for purses, apparently. Some celebrities are hard to recognize in person, especially if they put on glasses or something. But Cameron? Instantly and unmistakably recognizable. Skinny. Pretty. Cheerful. I didn't want to be one of "those" people who walk up and ask for a photo or an autograph, so I tried to be as secretive as possible about the photo. Thus the crappy blurriness. Anyway, that was one of the many highlights of the trip. I'm sitting at McCarran airport taking advantage of the free WiFi right now. I'm pretty exhausted. I can't do much more than a couple of days of Vegas-ing. With all the booze and the noise and the smoke and the crowds, I just get drained. Oh, also, there's also the fact that I'm old, I guess. But hopefully I'll be able to sleep a bit on the plane, and I'm plus taking the day off Monday to recover. I'll have a bunch of photos to put up, and a few more stories to tell. |

I have been to the end of the beltline! and I have decided that Amy has raised the bar for life's little challenges! Thanks for being patient, and for the use of the restroom after the hockey game! Lokking forward to the next trip. |
