The Detroit Pistons fall in six games to Lebron James.

Well, the Pistons are done now too, eliminating Detroit from all sports that matter for the year. (I can't even count baseball, because the season is twenty thousand games long, and is just too boring to watch.)

Cleveland won for one reason: Lebron James can make every shot known to man. He is a freak among freaks.

Well, okay, there are other reasons. Detroit has no legitimate low-post players; all their power forwards are eighty years old. Tayshaun Prince, though fast and stretchy, can't finish half his shots because he's not powerful enough. Rasheed Wallace is worth five points for the other team in technical fouls and other mental errors. And Flip Saunders is waaaay overrated as a coach.

If I could find a way to trade everyone except Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton for a center like Yao Ming, I'd do it. And no, Darko Milicic is not the next Yao Ming.

As much as I admire the work Joe Dumars is doing, Detroit needs to make some moves in the off-season to make them into a legitimate contender again next year.

That is pretty much the sentiment up here. But who would take 'Sheed after his stunt in the 4th quarter? he is 13 million a year. And if you get rid of Flip, who replaces him? Joe Dumars is about ot start earnig his pay, unless they stand pat. In which case, they will win 52 games and lose in the first round next year.

There's talk of Sheed for Marion (Phoenix), who's a beast. Marion typically plays small forward (TP's spot), but can offer up as a quick and athletic PF. I'd take it in a heart beat.
