Them poor Republicans... nothing but bad news, it seems like. Or am I just being a "naysayer"? Bush's approval ratings are at another all-time low! I guess this isn't even news any more, though. I mean, I could almost say the same thing every day. And now Republicans in Congress are getting worried, too, because as low as Bush's ratings are, Congress' ratings are even lower. Six out of ten Republican voters disapprove of Congress. Maybe one reason for the low ratings is because of the out-of-control spending from the Republican-led government. Spending is up to 20.8% of the GDP (from 18.5% in 2001). That's the fastest government growth since Franklin Roosevelt. Did Bush approve intelligence leaks? Scooter Libby says he did, though he stopped short of saying Bush approved the Valerie Plame leak. I seem to recall Bush saying before that anyone who leaked classified information would be punished... hey George, if the shoe fits... |
