| I am thankful for lots of things... Not everything goes right in my life. Or in anyone else's, I imagine. I've been through some sad stuff lately. But I have lots of good things to be thankful for. I have wonderful friends who think of me, and try to cheer me up, despite their own troubles. I have a family who loves me despite the fact that I don't see them enough or talk to them enough. I have countless little things that make me happy every day, like discovering another pair of clean underwear so I can go another day without doing the laundry, or discovering that I do in fact have all the ingredients to make curry rice like my mom used to make. Today the weather was nice, and I went for a run. That makes me happy, too. Life is wonderful if you let it be. |
